These qualifications are available at levels 1 and 2. They are designed for those wanting to enter or progress in the field of computerised accounts.
They can help learners to demonstrate competence in the practical use of computerised accounts software (Sage Accounts Professional) to produce accurate, professional and well presented accounts employing an appropriate range of accounting activities.
This course runs termly (3 times a year) and is ideal if you are looking for a first qualification in computerised accounts. The exam may be taken as a single subject or as a foundation for you to progress further in book-keeping.
Level 1 Award In Book-Keeping and Accounts or equivalent.
Once complete, you can progress to the City & Guilds Level 2 Award in Computerised Accounts
At Level 2 the aim of the qualification is to enable learners to carry out everyday operational aspects of computerised accounts. These include processing accounting transactions, producing customer and supplier documentation and producing reports such as age creditor analysis and sales day book summaries for management purposes.
