Automated External Defibrilation Certificate

Core Skills: 

 This course will enable your staff to use an Automated External Defibrillatoror AED. Thisis a portable device used to deliver an electric shock to an individual experiencing cardiac arrest. AED's are easy to use with appropriate training and can significantly increase the survival rate of cardiac arrest victims.


  This qualification covers the following topics:

  • Management of first aid incidents
  • Casualty assessment
  • Treatment of an unconscious casualty
  • Current CPR procedures
  • Safe and correct use of an AED
