The AAT Diploma delivers a high level of practical skills, knowledge and effective performance in the workplace and gives progression to AAT full membership and the UK chartered accountancy qualifications.
Advanced Certificate in Accountancy. Working in the area of accountancy is desirable but not essential.
Topics covered include: Drafting financial statements; Management accounting; Managing systems and people in the accounting environment; Professional ethics for accounting technicians.
Plus two of the following three units: Implementing auditing procedures; Preparing business taxation computations; Preparing personal taxation computations.
Your work will be assessed through a mix of exams and practical skills tests.
You could go on to study at degree level.
