Summary: 

If you want a career as an accountancy technician, you can't do better than take the AAT qualifications - they are recognised and respected throughout the sector. This is the first of the three levels on offer, and a qualification in its own right.

Numerical capability.

Working in an area of accountancy is desirable but not essentail.

Full Description: 

You'll cover introductory accounting and accountancy work skills in your Certificate programme. Your study is based on actually doing the work, so future employers know that as well as the underpinning knowledge, you have the skills and practical experience not just to perform in an accounting role, but to excel in it.
